City/State Virginia Beach, VA Overview Work Shift Weekend Days (United States of America) Sentara Princess Anne Hospital is hiring a *MRI Technologist * This is a Full Time position located in Virginia Beach, VA. Job Requirements Required: 1 year experience in a Rad Tech position to include Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography or Ultrasound preferred. Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of 24-month program in radiologic technology required in lieu of experience. Six months Required: Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions). CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT is required. Required: Communication Preferred: MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred. Position Overview Performs MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers. Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explains examination and procedure to patient, and completes departmental documentation.
