Pega System Architect

The Challenge:

Are you looking to take your technical skills to the next level by building modern systems from the ground up using the latest low-code platforms? Are you ready to use Pega? Are you ready to take on a complex client challenge to architect and build applications on enterprise Pega platform in a fast-paced, agile environment? Are you up to the challenge of joining a community of low-code Pega practitioners? As a low-code Pega developer, you will use your implementation lessons learned and apply them to lead the design, architecture, and development of an enterprise case management system supporting turnover of over 300,000 cases per year from vision to production-ready system.

We need an experienced technical developer who will use their passion to learn Pega patterns and best practices to support the Pega Government Platform architecture, including integration with external APIs and implementation in Amazon Web Services (AWS), to identify and implement best practices, system improvements, and collaborate with teammates. You are technically savvy, have experience working with agile delivery, and have proven experience building and designing components for enterprise applications solving real world problems pragmatically. Join us as we build systems to change federal agencies for the better. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience building Pega applications using Dev Studio
  • Experience with Pega technical concepts, including frameworks, data pages, and rulesets
  • Experience working within an Agile environment on a Scrum or team construct
  • Experience with unit testing, correcting defects, and delivering production grade applications
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Pega System Architect (CSA) Certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with building APIs and services in an enterprise setting
  • Experience with programming languages, including Java, .NET, C#, or JavaScript and Node
  • Experience working with federal clients in a consulting capacity
  • Experience with Pega platform version 8.x
  • Knowledge of Pega Cosmos Themes or similar UI framework

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $63,000 - $131,600 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $66,900 - $160,800 (annualized USD)
