Digital Battlespace Chief Software Engineer, Senior Manager

Key Role:

Join as a leader in our elite Digital Battlespace Platform (DBP) team to build next generation technologies for our defense clients.AApply modern software engineering practices to transform client systems and achieve critical mission success. Engage in leadership role across senior management, senior-level clients, and project team to implement MOSA and DevSecOps to accelerate software release schedules. Lead briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives. Perform as the go-to person to integrate software requirements and releases with specific IT strategies, programs, initiatives, and investments. Advise organizational leadership on emerging software and open system technologies and how to implement those and work alongsideAleadership to ensure IT and business planning are fully integrated on a continuous basis to increase business capability and value to our clients.AThis position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience with DoD software programs that involved code production such as Windows and Linux based platforms

  • 5+ years of experience managing large complex projects through software design, development, and test

  • 3+ years of experience with DevSecOpsAfor the DoD and DoD Mission System implementationA

  • 3+ years of experience with systems engineering and requirements decomposition to design, develop, integrate, and test software for applications to meet system level requirements

  • Experience working with tools and technologies in software development, cloud services, configuration control, testing, open-source, containerization, orchestration, or automation

  • Knowledge of Enterprise-scale architecture and the application to Cloud platform transformationA

  • Ability to apply computer science concepts and principles in the development of software for applications

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD C2ISR electronic warfare programs

  • Experience with developing software to meet cybersecurity related requirements

  • Experience with network architectures and communication protocols

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with executive-level briefing materials and delivery

  • Top Secret clearance

  • Master's degree

  • Intelligence and National Security Training
