Accounting Analyst

Location: Temple, TX

PDI Software is looking for an Accounting minded personto join our team in the Temple, TX office. Our core business hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM. This role will offer a starting compensation of $16.00/HR, EOE. You will perform Accounts Payable or Reconciliation duties for our clients in the convenience retail industry.

THE KIND OF STUFF YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Performing financial software support activities and providing timely customer service
• Maintainingand recordingbusiness transactions for assigned accounts
• Reviews and analyzes monthly operating results for accuracy and reasonableness
• Assistingwith Month End processes
• Followingup on accounting/system issues that affect accounts to ensure proper reporting
• Workingwith team leads and management to address any escalated client issues

THE KIND OF EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:

• Previous accounting coursework or equivalent comprehension
• 1-2+ years of accounting experience
• Previous experience with accounting software
• 2+ years of customer service experience, convenience store, retail or service industry preferred
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and impeccable organizational skills
• Previous experience with MS Excel
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
