Description Provides accurate and impartial on-site spoken language interpretation services requiring advanced proficiency in oral and written English and one foreign language (SPANISH) or language dialect with preference for native or near native fluency in the language of interpreting. Fluent English pronunciation is required. Professional level medical interpreting and knowledge of medical vocabulary to assist Limited English Proficient (LEP) patients and SMC medical personnel to ensure linguistically appropriate care. Acts as a cultural broker and patient advocate as directed in addition to assisting LEP patients to access a full range of Swedish services. Required qualifications:
