Southwire Job Description

Position Summary

The Finance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of technical efforts, projects, programs, and activities by coordinating information and providing support. She or he works with several project teams and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and data entry of project-specific activities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide project administration support to field personnel and project management.
  • Coordinate and track project workflow
  • Assist in all work order processes to ensure all related documentation is obtained and complete for billing.
  • Communicate with managers and customer on all status updates throughout the work order process.
  • Enter all project work order relevant data into software
  • Meet daily required deadlines
  • Assist in /create invoices in billing system
  • Prepare, and provide various reports to management weekly, monthly, and as needed.
  • Assist in / process permits
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Job Specific Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent research and analytical abilities and quantitative skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • High levels of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently in a flexible business environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to process work with a high level of accuracy.
  • Desire to learn and expand

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Experience with working with a General Contractor or Electrical Subcontractor preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Excel and Outlook required
