DESCRIPTION Come join our team in the Koman Outpatient Pavilion where we have an 8,000 square ft. state of the art facility, equipped with indoor and outdoor treatment areas, assistive technology including an AlterG, Noraxan Treadmill and force plate. This position is responsible for Physical Therapy patient service delivery including evaluation and treatment of routine and complex patients, with orthopedic/sports diagnoses. Completes required documentation and communicates patient information across the continuum of care. Participates in training and program development and represents the department to the medical and general community. Demonstrates competence in the UC San Diego Health core values. Depending on experience, the selected candidate will be hired as a PT2 or a PT3 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Graduation from an accredited school of Physical Therapy approved by the American Medical Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, eligibility for registration by the National Registry of the American Physical Therapy Association. Physical Therapist (PT) - issued by the state of California BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist SPECIAL CONDITIONS Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical. May flex and float between sites as needed. Pay Transparency Act Full Salary Range: $96,257 - $126,992 Annually The University of California, San Diego is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is defined as the Full Pay Range. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position defined as the Expected Pay Scale. Placement within the Expected Pay Scale is determined by internal equity, relevant qualifications, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
