Overview

We are recruiting a Senior Software Engineer who can form a deep understanding of our ecosystem, and identify what successful integration with partners look like. The professional will work closely with product marketing and software development to optimize integration results. This professional will work with a team who will develop, monitor, and identify ideal partner profiles, scenarios, analytics, adjust the strategy, and continuously monitor and improve results. This professional will put in processes to track test results, integration, and ecosystem performance. This professional will work with multiple product teams to ensure integration schedules are met. This professional must be flexible and willing to do a variety of tasks. This professional should have a solid knowledge of software languages and architectures in order to recommend and implement automation around testing the ecosystem. The Software Engineer will also be responsible for any automation and scripting strategies, architecture and solutions across multiple product lines to advance our product development.

This role will be Hybrid based in our Niles, IL Corporate Headquarters office.


Responsibilities

    Be able to form a deep technical understanding of our products and the ecosystem in which they operate
  • Assists with establishing, implementing, and maintaining standards, practices, procedures, identifying scenarios, test plans, and test cases/scripts for complete and complex frameworks, systems, or products
  • Be able to identify requirements for system specifications, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compatibility.
  • Assists with analyzing system design weaknesses.
  • Influences the shaping of future products by understanding compatibility of products within the ecosystemCreates automated test scripts and procedures to ensure efficient and consistent testing procedure
  • Ability to communicate and present analysis to internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Uses skills as a professional in systems development and testing of software products
  • Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data or situations requires evaluation of complex systems
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions for difficult assignments and of diverse scope
  • Experience with C, C++, python, java script, HTML, SQL, and other scripting languages
