Position Summary |
This position is a critical position that will provide workplace safety, operational, computer related and equipment training to 120+ employees in the Grounds Department. This incumbent will prepare training documents and lesson plans related to operational, workplace safety issues, equipment maintenance/preventative maintenance issues, and other related safety topics. This incumbent will log training documentation for all employees and conduct refresher courses as needed. |
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Knowledge of and the ability to use training methodology, time management skills, and organizational skills.
- Ability to demonstrate, present, and teach effectively in front of groups.
- Ability to operate audio visual equipment.
- Ability to develop teaching material utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (including Power Point, Word, Excel, and Translator), Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- Knowledge of landscape and hardscape maintenance and operations.
