Pyrotechnique by Grucci - Operations/Warehouse Manager - Dublin, VA

General Requirements, include but not limited to:


1. Must possess Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration or equivalent five years' experience in Warehouse Management or logistics management. Must possess a minimum of three years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

2. Must have at least three years in a manufacturing atmosphere.

3. Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification advantageous or must obtain within first year in position and maintain certification and demonstrate proficiency in that capacity.

4. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

5. Must have experience working with inventory management software (MRP/ERP), data analysis and forecasting techniques.

6. Be able to be trained on the current Inventory Control software (SAGE) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) modules and assist in training all department staff.

7. Must have experience working in an ISO Certified or Compliant environment.

8. Must be able to learn federal regulatory requirements including, but not limited to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE), Department of Transportation (DoT) and Department of Defense (DoD).

9. Must have experience in Lean Manufacturing Techniques, including 5S methodologies, Root Cause Analysis, etc.

10. Responsible for overall safety of the site, working with Pyrotechnique by Grucci (PbG) Director of Environmental, Health, Safety & Security Compliance.

11. Possess strong understanding of and the ability to work in Microsoft Office software programs with proficiency in the use of Excel and Word.

12. Must be able to receive clearance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE).

13. Must possess valid driver's license.

14. Possess initiative and the ability to perform in an environment driven by deadlines, in a quality manner while handling several other key responsibilities.

15. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.

16. Must have analytical skill in Warehouse Management.

17. Must possess a forklift driver training.

18. Proficient in asset management, software/asset tracking

19. Must possess strong leadership capabilities.

20. Must have strong decision making and problem-solving skills, including math related functions.

21. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

22. Must be able to work independently and in cross functional team environments.

23. Be able to work all overtime as required.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Manage the operational efficiencies of the property, external and internal including all utilities, contractors, and outside sources.

2. Manage facility staff of Receiving and warehouse.

3. Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.

4. Responsible for the implementation of asset tracking software and maintaining.

5. Oversee operational activities at every level of the facility and develop procedures needed for processes.

6. Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.

7. Oversee the organization's processes, remain compliant to customer and other regulatory requirements.

8. Formulate strategic and operational objectives.

9. Examine financial data and use them to maintain and improve profitability.

10. Manage Operational budgets of the facility and reports performance KPIs as needed and forecasts.

11. Ensure effective training for Receiving and warehouse staff.

12. Provide Forklift training for warehouse staff

13. Responsible for maintaining all OSHA Compliance and records.

14. Implement Continuous Improvement Strategies throughout the facility.

15. Oversee Receiving Department, including personnel for incoming, entering in the inventory system through scanning functions, and completing receiving records, working with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure incoming inspections are facilitated.

16. Oversee all receiving records and relevant information are forwarded to Inventory & Compliance Manager and Quality Assurance Director.

17. Responsible for ensuring product is stored and arranged in locations that optimize total production efficiencies to include order fulfillment and replenishment tasks.

18. Ensure that efficient storage practices are implemented and followed First In/First Out (FIFO) is practiced.

19. Ensure all non-conforming material is segregated from serviceable material until disposition is determined by QA.

20. Ensure storage conditions are monitored and met on all material per requirements.

21. Receives Picking List for production needs for PbG Radford facility and provides direction to warehouse personnel to ensure orders are picked, checked, and packed accurately and in a timely fashion.

22. Receives Fireworks equipment packing list for outbound customer shipments and coordinates with the Material Handler/Magazine Compliance Supervisor to provide the appropriate staff to meet shipment deadlines.

23. Manage all Fireworks by Grucci (FbG) equipment asset management and storage.

24. Coordinate with FbG Operations for incoming and outgoing FbG equipment shipments.

25. Oversee the ERP Manufacturing and Shop Floor processes are captured and reported accurately in the system.

26. Perform review of ERP reports and approvals for accuracy.

27. Oversee cycle inventories are completed and reported to the Inventory & Compliance Manager.

28. Evaluate deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve warehouse control efficiencies through procedures.

29. Ensure material is accurately issued and returned to and from the production line and recorded through Manufacturing Orders (MO).

30. Ensures accurate records are maintained for the department.

31. Assist and be present during audits, internal and external.

32. Must be committed to ISO and the company's Quality Management System using process approach and risk-based thinking methodologies and ensure department is in compliance with ISO requirements.

33. Ensure the Quality Policy and quality objectives are communicated and upheld by all employees.

34. Shares accountability for the effectiveness of the Quality Management System ensuring the Quality Policy and quality objectives are established and compatible with the context of the company.

35. Assist in creation of any required procedures / forms.

36. Participate in Yearly Management Review of all ISO documentation as scheduled.

37. Complete and administer scheduled Performance Reviews for assigned staff.

38. Establish and maintain a positive human relations climate in the department utilizing good communication practices and expeditious handling of complaints and problems.

40. Approve department's Weekly Time Sheets. Review and approve all requests for Vacation / Personal days for assigned staff. Review attendance and accrual information with assigned staff as needed.

41. Apply the required action necessary to recognize exceptional performance of staff or correct violations of Company policy.

42. Ensure all necessary information is conveyed to Human Resource Department in a timely manner as it relates to the department.

43. Participate in on-going training and education as required for the position.

44. Participation with internal ISO audits encouraged.

45. Abide by all company policies and procedures and comply with all governmental laws and regulations.

46. Obey all company work and safety rules.

47. Perform all other duties as required by management
