Job Summary
  • Operates drill rigs and drilling equipment for highway, construction, and wall stabilization drilling and blasting projects in Alaska.
Main Responsibilities
  • GPS equipped Sandvik DX700 and DX 800 top hammer drill rigs, John Henry excavator mounted drillrigs
  • Complete drill logs and provide support to blasting crew
  • Preform daily equipment checks and basic drill maintenance
  • Apply safety practices and guidelinesassociated with the project and drilling activities including the wearing ofpersonal protective equipment
  • Carries out workbased on precise directives from their hierarchy.
Education
  • Professional Certifications
  • Prefer minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a driller
