Description CNA 2 - Medical Surgical Unit at Providence Seaside Hospital. This posting represents a .6 FTE, night shift, Hours are 2-3, 12-hour shifts per 6-week schedule from 6:30pm-7:00am, with participation in the team's weekend and holiday rotation. Extra Incentives:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA2) is responsible for performing direct patient care services related to activities of daily living and for auxiliary support as related to nursing unit functioning. An employee responsible for patient care must be competent in the assessment, treatment, and age-related care. Consequently, the employee must be competent in the interpretation of a patient's self-report or behavior, and this information must be interpreted with an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional/psychosocial and chronological maturation process. The treatment of patients should be individualized and should reflect an understanding of the developmental needs and range of treatment needs for each.
