Position Summary

WebBank is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join the Finance Team. The Accounting Analyst performs a variety of routine and non-routine accounting functions with significant focus on general ledger accounting. This position is also responsible for supporting the Assistant Controller in conducting key activities such as Month-End and Quarter-End close, Fixed Assets, Account Reconciliations and Audits.

Primary Responsibilities

You will:



  • Prepare monthly and daily journal entries such as Cash, Prepaids, Depreciation & Amortization, Expense Allocations & Revenue.
  • Assist with Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing.
  • Assist with Balance Sheet preparation and Monthly Account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and update Fixed Assets.
  • Review cash deposits and prepare cash receipt journal entries.
  • File and maintain all journal entries for internal and audit purposes.
  • Assist in automating processes and procedures.
  • Assist with financial audits.
  • Assist with preparation of monthly Accounting and ALCO reports.
  • Backup Senior Accountant with duties.
  • Other duties as assigned, including special projects.


You Have:



  • 0-3 years of professional accounting experience
  • Thorough knowledge of established accounting principles and practices
  • Solid computer skills with Microsoft Office software
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Knowledge and proficiency of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) with regards to financial reporting for a public company

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Lease Accounting/Contract Abstraction
  • Previous general ledger accounting experience
  • Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills
