Job Summary

Getty is the world's largest cultural and philanthropic organization dedicated to the visual arts. Getty's Investment Department manages a diversified portfolio of $8.5 billion in investment assets. We are seeking an Operations Analyst to join our team.

The Investment Operations Analyst will report to the Investment Operations Manager. The operations team will provide analytical and operational assistance in managing the endowment portfolio across all asset classes: Public Equity, Fixed Income, Absolute Return, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Assets and Private Credit. The operations team will work in partnership with the investment team to develop accounting and financial processes, procedures, protocols and controls to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the investment function. This includes participating in operational due diligence and managing the on-boarding and monitoring of investments. The team will also be in charge of for gathering, organizing, and presenting data on investment performance and risk attributes with the goal of improving investment evaluation and selection.



Major Job Responsibilities

    Prepare asset-class specific and portfolio-wide performance analytics and risk reporting.
  • Perform portfolio liquidity analysis and cashflow forecasting for public and private portfolios.
  • Assist with operational due diligence, and with the preparation of legal documents such as subscription and redemption documents.
  • Ensure proper onboarding of new investments on custodian and other monitoring systems.
  • Oversight of daily operational processes including coordinating investment related transactions including new subscriptions, redemptions, and all capital call and distribution activities.
  • Reconcile cash, investment transactions and market values with custodian system.
  • Prepare monthly performance estimates.
  • Assist in the audit processes, work with relevant departments and outside auditors as necessary.


Qualifications

  • College or university degree, CPA designation a plus
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience in financial services or investment operations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office including excel) and adeptness at learning new software. Familiarity with Burgiss and Caissa platforms a plus.
  • Exceptional ability for effective time management & meeting deadlines, multi-tasking, and ability to work well under pressure
