We are currently seeking a Information Engineer to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia (US-DC), United States (US).

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must be skilled in migration of legacy applications and modernization of apps using modified SDLC/Agile processes and techniques
  • Skilled in developing analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solutions.
  • Performs process and data modeling in support of the planning and analysis efforts using both manual and automated tools such as Integrated Computer-Aided Software Engineering tools.
  • Skilled in managing large data sets and ensuring security of information
  • Experience with cloud migrations, specifically experience with AWS, other cloud platforms and LCAP (low code application platforms
  • Applies reverse engineering and re-engineering disciplines to develop migration strategic and planning documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education B.A or B.S degree, preferably in a computer related disciplines or software development
  • Residency Requirements- Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust background security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.Must be a US Citizen.

  • Minimum 15 years of experience applying an enterprise-wide set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design, operations, and testing of complex applications on enterprise-wide basis or across a major sector of the enterprise.
  • Provides technical guidance in software engineering techniques and automated support tools.
  • Performs enterprise-wide strategic systems planning, business information planning, business operations analysis.
  • Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.
  • In accordance with Executive Order 14042, a candidate for this role must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 or their start date, whichever is later, subject to the provisions and exceptions of EO 14042 and applicable law.

Required Certifications/Skills:

  • PMP
  • ITIL v3 Foundations
  • Agile/SAFe expertise
  • Knowledgeable in EVMS techniques, reporting requirements

Desired Skills:

  • Agile Coach a plus
  • Scrum Master a plus
  • Security certs a plus
