Job Description Summary

The Senior Recruiter will direct efforts to source, select, and hire qualified candidates.

The Senior Recruiter will be the face of recruitment for assigned client groups. This role will handle full-cycle recruitment with the partnership and support of a Talent Acquisition Sourcer. The Senior Recruiter proactively and strategically presents high quality candidates across several geographic areas and job functions. Work in a fast-paced environment in cooperation with hiring managers, to successfully fill roles in a professional manner to meet company goals.

The position works remotely and from our office in Baltimore, MD and will report to the Sr Director, HR Operations.

Job Description

  • Identifies hiring needs and works with hiring managers to clarify position requirements and develop recruitment strategy.
  • Maintains active relationships within networks to gain knowledge of competitive activities and best practices.
  • Assists with proactively driving active and passive candidate pipelines, including organizing and managing the applicant tracking system.
  • Guides hiring managers throughout the recruitment process and performs tasks to support the candidate lifecycle including posting job ads, partnering with external agencies, sourcing talent, communicating with candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews and assessments, identifying cultural/position fit, gathering and providing feedback and offer management.
  • Plays an active role in managing the selection process, assessing candidates' non-technical skills/knowledge and attributes, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Builds rapport with hiring managers and develops effective relationships within the organization.
  • Serves as a contact person for the candidate, hiring manager, and recruiting coordinator on the status of the candidate.
  • Makes contact and follows up with candidates to create and maintain interest in opportunities within the company.
  • Advocates for company's value proposition to attract, engage, and retain key talent; Equally advocates for the candidate experience and perception.
  • Identifies, recommends, and implements operational improvements to streamline recruitment processes, gather metrics and increase efficiency.
  • Provides standard reports, projections, and data on TA related topics.
  • Advises and supports the HR Operations team with recruitment and related best practices.
  • Assists with employee referral management.
  • Assists with developing and updating job descriptions and offer letters.
  • Assists with defining and documenting standardized internal recruitment practices, processes and procedures.
  • Stays current on company's organizational structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, communication, or a psychology-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' full life-cycle recruiting experience, required
  • 3 years' real estate or property management search experience, preferred
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with appropriate sense of audience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Proficient with general recruitment technology and Applicant Tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; Attentive to detail.
  • Handles multiple, complex projects, with minimal guidance, prioritizes effectively, and meets deadlines.
  • Works well with all levels of management, independently and as a member of various teams.
  • Flexible, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with quickly re-prioritizing.
