As a data architect on our team, youall use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for an authoritative data environment and the data elements it contains while factoring in how the environment will support analytics and data sharing. Youall resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by analyzing data architecture business needs.A

In this role, youall grow your technical expertise and apply best practices and use tools, including AWS data services, Databricks, Alation, and Experian. Youall guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests Cloud solution components, and youall serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:aaA

  • 8+ years of experience with data architecture or engineering for the DoD

  • 5+ years of experience leading a data team in creating data plans, and execution of the resulting roadmaps

  • 5+ years of experience with big data tools, including Apache Spark or Hadoop, and working with structured and unstructured data

  • Experience with Databricks or Delta Lake

  • Experience working with data leveraging Cloud capabilities, including AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Experience with client-facing project work or professional consulting

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with applying big data concepts in a data lake

  • Experience with data engineering

  • Knowledge of enterprise transformation initiatives

  • Possession of excellent client-facing or consulting skills

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Master's degree

  • Big Data Engineer or Data Architecture certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualas particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,600 to $197,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Booz Allenas total compensation package for employees.
