As a data architect on our enterprise data services team, youall use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for big data analytics, cloud computing, and managed services. Youall resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by leveraging technical expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments and assess, design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms using the latest Big Data tools.A

In this role, youall grow your technical expertise, apply best practices and use tools like Databricks, Apache Spark, and multi-cloud platforms to architect data systems and standup data platforms, build out ETL pipelines, interface with data stores, and design and build data models, business applications, and business intelligence reports. Youall guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and youall serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met, and solutions are delivered.A

You Have:aaA

• 5+ years of experience in data systems or data platform architecture or implementation
• 3+ years of experienceAin Apache Spark with either Python or Scala
• 2+ years of experience with data platforms, including Databricks, and cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience designing and architecting large scale Data Lake solutions using the SAAS model of Databricks Lakehouse
• Experience controlling the cost, monitoring, and delivering Data Lake architecture and with query optimization using Databricks delta lake
• Experience in query tuning, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging Spark and other big data solutions
• Experience applying solutions architecture best practices, including efficiency, security, reliability, and cost optimization
• Knowledge of application development lifecycles and continuous integration and deployment practices
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bacheloras degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualas particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,600 to $197,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Booz Allenas total compensation package for employees.
