Advisory Engagement Manager

This is a remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States.

Position Overview:

The Advisory Engagement Manager is primarily responsible forcultivating and growingclient relationshipsby leading strategic advisory projects and supporting the business development pursuits of our account executive and sales engineering teams.Core objectives include:

This is an exciting hybrid role, blendingdeep client management experiencewithstrategy development and other advisoryexpertise.As a member of ATG's Advisory consultant team, the Advisory Engagement Manager willwork both independently and in collaborationwith the entire Advisory Team, our Account Executives, ATG consultant teams, the client, and prospective clients to bothsell and deliver enterprise-level strategic consulting servicesto business clients throughout the world, operating in a wide variety of industry verticals.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Own the execution of advisory projects in a manner that establishes a trusted partner relationship
  • Serve as a thought leader in support of clients' success and the ATG Advisory practice and team
  • Broaden the client's understanding and exposure to all of ATG's offerings that have strategic relevance
  • Extend client relationships by advancing ATG Points-of-View (POVs), facilitating client strategy and road map development, and executing associated contractual agreements
  • Serve as ATG's leadership-level point of contact for program planning with responsibility for project, program and/or portfolio-level goals and strategy.
  • Establisha strategic relationship with key client sponsor groups in collaboration with the Q2C Strategist on account with the target goal of establishing a referenceable, case study customer
  • Track and report internally on key performance indicators, relevant client benchmarks as it relates to Q2C initiatives


Key Experience:



  • Demonstrates success and experience in the following areas:
  • Senior- level:Proven experience in PPM leading successful initiatives, from CRM, Billing and ERP enterprise implementations to complete digital transformation.Proven abilities in client facing role developing business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional requirement documents (FRDs)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated requirements gathering abilities
  • Customer-centric attitude - committed to the client and successfully consults and negotiates when necessary
  • Experienced Manager of both internal and client teams; dedicated to supporting others' success


Preferred Knowledge and Skills:



  • 5+ years in comprehensive account management that includes successful execution of projects and programs of all types within high technology industries; portfolio management experience is a plus
  • Experience leveraging PPM strengths and client relationship management expertise to grow revenues
  • 5+ years in technical sales preferred, but not required.At minimum, must have demonstrable experience and passion for engaging with both prospective and existing clients and earning trusted advisor status
  • Must have clear and deep understanding of core Quote to Cash (Q2C) concepts
  • Capable of driving and managing client expectations, managing project nuance, and coordinating across essential resources
  • Demonstrated experience working the "back-end" of business development; solutions definition, project estimation, and client acceptance
  • Understanding of the Quote to Cash process (CPQ, CLM, Order Management, Billing, and CRM); associated vendor community; and, related industry trends and evolution.
  • Comfortable using business software, for example, Salesforce CRM, MS Office 365, PPM systems, FP&A systems, and WMS systems
  • Committed to the customer's success and successfully consults and negotiates when necessary
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills with a high level of professionalism and commandin all settings, from one-on-one to presentation to a group of hundreds.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 50%, primarily within the United States


Relevant Technologies:



  • Experience in the following technologies are preferred (but not required): Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce Billing, Apttus CPQ, Apttus CLM, Gotransverse TRACT, Spring CM CLM, Conga CLM and other related solutions, Xactly SPM solutions, Aria billing platform, Salesforce Communities and Cloud Craze
  • Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Zuora, Oracle Big Machines, Calidus Cloud Solutions, Netsuite, Mulesoft, and other SaaS/Cloud Q2C and related solutions


Education:



  • 4-year degree in a technical or business field of study preferred
  • Understanding of the Quote to Cash process (CPQ, Order Management, Billing, and CRM) a plus


Location and Travel:



  • Willingness and ability to travelup to 50%
  • Desired locations are ATG Delivery Centers, located in Missoula, MT, Cincinnati, OH, Kansas City, MO or St. Louis, MO, however for senior experienced professionals working virtual may be an option
