  1. JOB SUMMARY



The Sr Specialist/Master Scheduler is a hands-on function responsible for rough-cut supply plans and all daily scheduling activities, and process order management in SAP for production at the Camden site to meet sales and service level objectives. The incumbent will maintain close communications with all internal stakeholders and ensure the maintenance of accurate planning master data.

  • Responsible for personal safety and contributing to departmental conformance to company safety policies.
  • Establish attainable supply plans and production schedules that optimize production resources/labor and support customer requirements for assigned resources.
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership to understand constraints and timing required.
  • Monitor and maintain all process orders and/or firm-planned orders from creation through completion.
  • Lead Scheduling meetings weekly and Issue Resolution meetings as required.
  • Ensure readiness of all raw materials and documentation two weeks prior to scheduling batches for Fill production.

    Maintain collaborative relationships with Manufacturing, Project Management, Quality, Validation, and Facilities.

    Planning/detailed scheduling in a manner to reduce manual processes and use of external tools to the fullest extent possible.
  • Participate in design, testing, and implementation of any new planning tools and processes.

    Communicate risks and/or changes that will impact the supply of finished goods.
  • Collaborate with Materials Planner on raw material issues.

    Analyze monthly Schedule Attainment with Sr. Manager Supply Planning.
  • Perform other responsibilities and special projects as required.

    Develop solutions to moderately complex issues and impediments in scheduling.

III. MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS




Education



  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Planning or commensurate experience



Experience:



  • 2-4 years of pharmaceutical scheduling experience
  • 3-5 years of Production Planning experience



Knowledge:



  • Working knowledge of SAP inventory and production planning
  • APICS certification a plus



Skills:



  • Strong Analytical and Communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills



Abilities:



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
