Appointment Type This permanent exempt position is excluded by the Charter from the competitive Civil Service Examination process and shall serve at the discretion of the Appointing Officer. Job DescriptionReporting directly to the Assistant Portfolio Manager and Director of Private Equity, the Investment Officer is responsible for assisting in the daily management of SFERS' Private Equity portfolio, with a focus on venture capital and growth equity strategies. The Investment Officer will be part of the six-person Private Equity team, which works collaboratively across various private equity strategies. The incumbent is responsible for supporting sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring activities within the portfolio and has full ownership of all administrative tasks related to the portfolio.
