ITS supports the Intelligence Community, Rapid Prototyping Facilities, Premier Commercial Customers, and related end users around the world.

We are excited to be recruiting for the next important piece of our history and new talent, an Entry Level AV Technician! This position supports our Federal Government AV/Video Teleconferencing (VTC) production and installation department.

The responsibilities of this role may include:



  • Assists tenured Technicians with the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, touch panels, message boards, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
  • Work with hand tools and power tools such as stripers, screwdrivers, crimpers, dikes, wrenches, ratchets, drills and soldering iron
  • Climb ladders to assist with wiring and installing
  • Crawl under a raised floor to run cables throughout the space
  • Move and lift boxes of equipment over 50 lbs
  • Lift large displays onto wall
  • Assists with the fabrication, termination, and installation of AV and IT cabling
  • Assists with the configuration of video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
  • Assists with the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing existing AV systems
  • Perform other related duties as assigned



To qualify for this position, you must possess a HS Diploma or equivalent. This is an entry level position, therefore audio-visual specific experience is not required but employees will be taught the necessary skills. You must be willing to travel around the United States. You must also be able to pass a background check and have a clear criminal record.
