REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
* Sprays surfaces of machines, manufactured products, or working area with protective or decorative
material such as paint, enamel, glaze, gel-coat, or lacquer
* Prepares surfaces appropriately prior to painting
* Conducts daily cleanup of equipment and work area to ensure proper work area painting environment

REQUIRMENTS:
* Assists in the procurement of necessary supplies and materials
* Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
* Delegates work to less experienced employees
* Interacts with employees and managers across the company
* General supervision and instructions given for routine work, and detailed instructions given for new
activities or special assignments.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of (3) years of relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Clear knowledge and understanding of paint specifications for required finishes
* Clear knowledge of dry booth painting
* Clear knowledge of proper surface preparation prior to painting
* Clear knowledge of painting equipment used
* Clear interpersonal skills to cooperate and work effectively with others
* Ability to understand drawings, work orders and BOMs
* Ability to evaluate work conditions and quality of work produced
* Ability to work with multiple coating systems
* Leadership skills
* Ability to work independently
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to wear personal protective equipment (1/2 face respirator)
