We have a unique opportunity for a Certified Athletic Trainer Intern to provide a valuable service to our student-athletes and deliver the highest quality of health care possible to compete at the Division I level and in the Big East Conference.

In this role, you would be directly responsible for the medical care of student athletes and be integral in the management of injuries and illnesses that occur throughout the year both with the student-athletes and the coaching staff.



Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the medical care of student athletes
  • Integral in the management of injuries and illnesses that occur throughout the year both with the student athletes and the coaching staff
  • Assists athletic department in various aspects of athletic training, coaching, and administrative duties.



Qualifications

  • Graduated from a Bachelors' or Masters' degree program in related field
  • 0-2 years' related experience
  • NATABOC certified or eligible, eligible for Nebraska license, first aid certification, CPR for the professional rescuer.
  • Knowledge of strength and conditioning techniques
  • Knowledge of coaching principles and techniques
  • Interest in recruiting talent
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
