Job Summary:

The Project Manager oversees the full project management life cycle for implementations ranging from shorter duration & medium complexity to the highly complex, large-scale and strategic. In this role, you will work closely with Professional Services and our customers to deliver systems, process and solutions to meet stakeholder business needs. The Project Manager will be responsible for working with teams utilizing their mastery of project management processes and their experience in delivering quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize project management skills to assist in the implementation of PDI products to serve customer business needs
  • Implement established policies, project monitors and controls to ensure the successful management of customer engagements
  • Provide excellent service to ensure customer is successful using PDI solution
  • Build trust with each customer and internal team members; demonstrate a high degree of accountability
  • Prepare and provide project communication for the customer and PDI stakeholders to ensure expectations are aligned and project status clearly indicates schedule, budget, scope and quality
  • Consistently manage overall project scheduling; work closely with the customer and internal departments to establish the implementation schedule and project delivery priorities
  • Proactively look for potential risks and roadblocks throughout the implementation and develop appropriate mitigation plans to eliminate or lower the probability/impact of risk
  • Pursue working knowledge and understanding of PDI products and services
  • Participates in and contributes to established PMO team with the goal of ensuring Project Management excellence across the organization

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, or similar field OR related experience
  • 2-3 years experience in customer-facing project management, account management, consulting or related experience
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or higher certification preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and advanced Excel skills required
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to established scope, budget, and timeline
  • Requires strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to help others and take action
  • Experience managing multiple, frequently changing, and potentially competing priorities to successful completion
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to socialize ideas and influence decisions without direct authority
  • Collaborative and inquisitive in nature with a strong desire to dig in and learn
