ABE/GED Math Instructor at Norfolk

$17.00 per hour. This is a grant-funded position contingent on future funding. No fringe benefits.

The purpose for this teaching position is to provide Math instruction for adult learners preparing for attaining a GED and career pathways instruction. This position is responsible for maintaining and tracking student hours and adhering to Federal and State Adult Education regulations. 19 hours per week.

Bachelor's degree preferred. Bilingual or multilingual language capability desired but not required (Spanish preferred).

Adult teaching experience preferred.

Requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of computers and ability to learn and operate computer based learning programs. Must possess the ability to work with non-traditional and culturally diverse learners and be willing to work a flexible schedule.
