  • Position Summary

    • Seeking creative and innovative Physical Therapist to join our progressive Acute Care Rehab team in our 25 bed Critical Access Hospital. In addition to providing evaluations and short term acute rehab, enjoy the privilege of providing rehabilitative care to our Swing Bed (Skilled) patients, of which we average approximately 5 on caseload. We foster a culture of inclusiveness, as seen with by our interdisciplinary care team approach during daily rounds supporting a robust and safe discharge planning process. LincolnHealth has received the Leap Frog award for Safety the last 5 years running for rural hospital care.   • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

    1. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from accredited four year college or university.
    2. License/Certifications: Currently or eligible to become a licensed Physical Therapist by the State of Maine. Current CPR certification.
    3. Experience: Previous experience helpful but not required. New graduates accepted.
    4. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
    5. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
    6. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
