The selected hire for this role will plan and participate in the performance of various audit department assignments, which include Information Technology reviews and projects, evaluation of internal controls as they relate to information technology, compliance with local and Corporate policies and procedures, and special projects.

Reports to Global IT Audit Manager, work with Division, Group, and Corporate Management, and External Auditors, to evaluate internal controls on the adequacy and effectiveness of the IT Environment.

  • Complete planning, fieldwork and wrap-up of IT audits which evaluate internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures according to audit programs to ensure the required audit percentage of completion is attained.
  • Perform all assignments in accordance with department standards and procedures.
  • Provide necessary IT support to finance audit teams in the evaluation of IT-based systems through manual or computerized audit techniques.
  • Assist in the preparation or revision of audit programs and revision of department policies.
  • Develop, complete and review, in a timely manner, logical and organized workpapers which are supportive of audit conclusions.
  • Preparation of formal written reports, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls.
  • Assist in the evaluation of IT audit work performed by IT audit staff and finance auditors to ensure audit procedures are properly and completely performed.
  • Assist in IT audit and controls training of financial auditors and/or IT community.
  • Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience of Information Technology, Finance and/or audit experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Works well with others on teams.
  • Domestic/International Travel: Up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Desirable Professional certification. CISA, MBA, CIA or Project Management preferred.
  • Ability to work in a highly complex environment.
  • General understanding of accounting and manufacturing concepts.
