Marketing Design Specialist

The role of the Marketing Design Specialist is to ensure all Leap content looks professional and up to date, maintain the marketing website and the blog site, as well as being the primary point of contact with RR Donnelly regarding all of Leap content that can be purchased. The position is also responsible for designing user interface mockups for development and making sure the user experience is easy to follow and professional. The position will report to the Director of Training and Development.

  • Publish to all appropriate media sites (Hootsuite)
  • Review metrics of social media and report to Director of Training & Development
  • Recommend and develop new strategies/ideas for social media
  • Maintain Leap Community Blog Website
  • Create marketing posts from live events to help market future events

  • Provide content and keep updated on the RR Donnelly website

• Development
  
  
  
  • Work with development team to create mockups
  • Provide images/presentations for online content
  • Develop, improve, and enhance existing presentations in software
  
  
  
  

• Training
  
  
  
  • Assist in the creation of registration pages for events (Wufoo)
  • Order and ensure materials arrive for training events
  • Provide any presentations required for events
  • Send out emails regarding trainings
  • Post webinars to the Leap marketing website (Vimeo/YouTube)
  • Develop follow up content related to training events and virtual training
  • Work directly with trainers and presenters to assist with content creation, PowerPoint presentations, and marketing for training events
  • Review existing material that has been archived for updates and future use

  • Manage podcasts, recordings, editing, posting
  • Make sure webinars recordings are posted to website
  • Maintain marketing website
  • Execute email marketing campaigns
  • Initiate and develop campaigns designed for increasing subscribers
  
  
  
  

• Maintain comprehensive and in-depth working knowledge across all supported Leap products and philosophy
• Complies with all company and site policies and procedures
• Understand Leap's philosophy and software
• Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Understands company compliance guidelines and adheres to same

• Minimum of 7 years in a comparable role
• User Interface/User Experience with website design required
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Hootsuite, GoogleDocs, Basecamp required

Education/Licenses/Professional Designations

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) with Marketing/Communications major/minor from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
