Sentara Advanced Imaging Center is hiring an MRI/CT Technologist for a Full Time, Weekend Only Day shift position. Friday/Saturday/Sunday OR Saturday/Sunday/Monday option available. 630AM to 7PM. The MRI/CT Technician will perform necessary functions to obtain optimal diagnostic studies in CT/MRI including patient interviews and screenings, positioning, equipment operation, working with physicians and infection control. Our hospitals imaging centers and outpatient centers offer some of the newest and most innovative imaging services available. Whether it's a simple X-ray or a 3T MRI, imaging technology often plays an essential role in delivering quality healthcare. Job Requirements and Preferred Qualifications: Required: Trade School Graduate Required: CNMT or ARRT Required: 1+ year Radiation Tech experience Required: 1+ year Nuclear Medicine Tech experience Preferred: ARRT CT AND ARRT MR Required: If do not already have, must be able to obtain ARRT CT and ARRT MR within 2 years of hire Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 250-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
