Job Summary The part-time temporary openings within the Maricopa Processing Center (MPC) department provide a variety of clerical and administrative assistance in the processing of verification and Student Aid Report (SAR) code resolution. Includes document/file intake, data input, file management, and record documentation. Please read the "How To Apply" section to ensure a complete application is submitted. Essential Functions 50% - Document review, scanning, and intake to include data entry and filing 20% - File management, document flow, and record documentation 15% - Verifies applications for accuracy and completeness to include the resolution of SAR codes 10% - Respond to inquiries from college staff and the Financial Aid Answer Center 5% - Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Desired Qualifications A. Experience working in Financial Aid office B. Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS), such as PeopleSoft, Common Origination & Disbursement (COD), and National Students Loan Data System (NSLDS) C. Demonstrated ability to work quickly and accurately on detailed records, and experience working under time constraints D. Experience maintaining electronic files and data entry skills E. Experience with standard office practices, procedures, equipment, and Microsoft Office F. Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms Special Working Conditions May be required to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, depending on the needs of the department. May require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and viewing a computer monitor. Must be in good standing with the Department of Education as it relates to Federal Financial Aid.
