The Industrial Design Intern will assist the Manager of Design & Insights with various projects to support Elkay by performing the following duties:

• Design Research/Designing Market Surveys
• Infographics / Data Visualization
• Usability /User Experience
• Customer Journey Mapping
• Brand Design Language
• Sustainability/Health/Safety

We are targeting students completing their junior or senior of college who are studying Industrial Design and are interested in working in a dynamic and engaging work environment to participate in our internship program. Elkay interns will apply the skills and knowledge developed in college while contributing to exciting real world projects!

Qualifications:

• Students completing their junior or senior year working toward a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or graduate level students.
• Must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• 3D CAD Modeling, Solidworks preferred
• 3D Rendering, Keyshot preferred
• Basic model-making and shop work
• Hand Sketching and Digital Sketch Renders
• Form Development
• Basic Materials & Processes for MFG
• Ability to work collaboratively and/or independently in a dynamic environment
• Minimum GPA: 3.0
• Ability to work 40 hours per week
