Material Quality Inspector
Overview The Material Quality Inspector ensures that all parts and materials brought into the system for the support and maintenance of aircraft are serviceable, airworthy, and quality standards are maintained throughout the entire receiving process. The tasks required for this role include the inspection of parts, assemblies, chemicals, tooling and materials for conformance to specifications, verification of quantities, part number of items received to ensure completeness and accuracy of order, and the certification paperwork for compliance with FAA, EASA and other regulatory agencies, including Atlas Air company requirements and specifications. Determine if all parts and materials are serviceable or unserviceable per the requirements of the General Maintenance Manual and all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
