Sentara is currently hiring a ***MRI/CT TECHNOLOGIST***

This is a Full-Time, DAY SHIFT, WEEKEND position located at Sentara Leigh Advanced Imaging Center.

Job Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Required: Trade School Graduate
  • Required: CNMT or ARRT
  • Required: 1+ year Radiation Tech experience
  • Required: 1+ year Nuclear Medicine Tech experience
  • Preferred: ARRT CT AND ARRT MR
  • Required: If do not already have, must be able to obtain ARRT CT and ARRT MR within 2 years of hire

The MRI/CT Technician will perform necessary functions to obtain optimal diagnostic studies in CT/MRI including patient interviews and screenings, positioning, equipment operation, working with physicians and infection control.

Job Summary

Performs necessary functions to obtain optimal diagnostic studies in CT/MRI including patient interviews and screenings, positioning, equipment operation, working with physicians and infection control.

-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist required.
-1 year ARRT Radiologic Tech OR 1 year CNMT Nuclear Medicine Tech required.
-Must obtain ARRT CT and ARRT MR within 2 years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).
