Job Requirements

• 
  

  Troubleshooting and general maintenance of equipment and general facility upkeep. Capable of operating all machine tools as well as any machinist hand tools or gauging equipment necessary

  
  

• 
  

  to satisfactorily complete assignments.

  
  
• 
  

  Qualified to disassemble, inspect, recondition, repair, and assemble either on component parts or complete machines. Capable of making own parts as needed to repair/build machines.

  
  
• 
  

  Qualified to carry through to completion the rebuild of complete machines.

  
  
• 
  

  Knowledge of drills, groovers, grinders, CNC turretmachines and CNC lathes.

  
  
• 
  

  Knowledge of welding, hydraulics and general electrical schematics

  
  

Education & Experience Required

• 
  

  Levels of experience considered include:

  
  

• 
  

  Hold a Journeyman classification as a Machine Repair person

  
  

or

• 
  

  Has completed a bona fide apprenticeship program with standards acceptable to the UAW with certificate documentation

  
  

or

• 
  

  Has 8+ years of practical hands-on experience in precision machine repair and can prove same with proper affidavits or work record., or

  
  

or

• 
  

  Has a minimum of 4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
