Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full time Registered Nurse to join our amazing Cardiac Care Unit (STC-1). Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

**$10k sign-on bonus offered to qualified candidates

Schedule: Full Time - Days - 36 hours per week

Unit Summary

STC-1 is an expansion unit in the acute care service line. This expansion unit with give you the opportunity to have brand new equipment and facilities, grow your clinical knowledge in the care of the cardiac patient, have a nurse friendly floor plan to increase workflow efficiency, be part of starting a culture of teamwork and involvement in process improvement.

This unit specializes in the care of a broad spectrum of cardiac patients and post-procedure monitoring. Diagnoses that one can expect but are not limited to are acute myocardial infarctions, atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, & heart arrhythmias. Procedures that one can expect but are not limited to post intervention catheterization, ablations, watchman’s, & other cardiology procedures.

Requirements of the Ideal Candidate

Education: Graduate of an Accredited Program



  • Major: Nursing


Experience: Minimum 6 months of RN experience

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:



  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer
  • Registered Nurse
