Neonatologist

Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a BC/BE, fellowship trained Neonatology Physician to join our team in our Round Rock Medical Centers. This is a unique position for a neonatologist looking for an excellent work/life balance. A successful candidate will initially be the inpatient Director of Round Rock Hospital's Labor and Delivery unit which handles 70-120 deliveries a month and will ultimately grow into the NICU Director for a Level 3, 12 bed NICU opening in a new medical tower in 2024. This Neonatologist will be highly involved in the strategic planning for the expansion prior to the completion. This Physician will supervise 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and will share in-house duties and calls as well as oversee additional staff hired in the future. NNP backup call is shared equally between this Neonatologist and other BSW Neonatologists. Currently call is taken from home, though this may change as the unit grows.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Doctorate Degree in Medicine

- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

- Where Applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her speciality or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
