Senior Lead Electrical Coordinator

Description

Systems Planning Corporation (SPC), a subsidiary company of GAI Consultants, Inc., is seeking a Sr., Lead Electrical Coordinator to work on projects in Sapulpa, OK. You will be reporting out of our Cranberry, PA office. The Sr. Lead Electrical Coordinator will assist plant management in the planning, execution, and documentation for project work at the client's facilities.

This position is in anticipation of more growth and is an evergreen position. As such, the timeline to hire is unknown and will be as needed. If you are interested in this type of work we encourage you to apply and we will reach out when we are ready to move forward. It could be several months.



  • Must have thorough working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) regarding the safe operation of industrial facilities.
  • Must have a working knowledge of industrial control systems and communications protocols.
  • Must be able to develop and document effective, succinct and detailed reports on project plans, daily activities, and maintenance requirements.
  • Must effectively communicate technical information, concepts, and ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to read and interpret electrical and control system drawings as well as skilled in marking up any required changes to drawings.
  • Ability to understand, read, and update Critical Path Method schedules.
  • Strong communication and organization skills required.


Physical Requirements:


  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
    reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.



  • The employee is frequently required to sit.



  • The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk.



  • climb stairs up to 12 floors, climb a ladder, work at high elevations, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.



  • The employee is required to wear Personal Protective Equipment including hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.



  • The work environment will have both hot and cold temperatures.



  • Noise level in the work environment is moderate.



  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelors of Electrical Engineering (preferred)
High School of Diploma (required)
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience working in industrial facilities preferred. (preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of experience working with industrial control systems such as programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), protective relays and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) preferred. (preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of experience with facility electrical distribution systems preferred. Principally 480V and below, although supply voltages up to 15 kV class may be encountered. (required)
