SPEECH PATHOLOGIST/THERAPIST- NICU (PRN)

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides evaluation and treatment of patient referred by medical staff for comprehensive care of speech, language, and oral ability; supervising support staff in the provision of care as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

New graduates accepted in clinical fellowship for one year under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist who holds certificate of clinical competence (CCC) or eligible for/possess licensure in Texas and holds CCC from the American Speech, Hearing, and Language Association.

Must obtain CPR within 30 days of employment .

Must be able to commute between facilities in a timely manner.

Strong knowledge of advanced therapy skills and competencies.

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal relationship skills.

Basic computer skills.
