Your day-to-day: You will be part of the Revenue and Intelligence Inbox Commerce Product Team.

  • Building product graphs, mail data taxonomies and their definitions and guidelines.

  • Deeply understanding different consumers' personas, their pain points & commercial user journeys that can be unlocked and resolved through the capabilities of your platform.

  • Translating product & business goals into technical requirements.

  • Analyzing and drawing key conclusions about the platform quality, future product & market opportunities from raw and refined product data.

  • Employing Machine Learning and Data Science to scale our Mail intelligence capabilities.

  • Evangelizing how product intelligence and mail content understanding capabilities can personalize user experiences and contribute to key business OKRs.

  • Effectively work across many leading-edge technology areas and across multiple cross-functional partners to evangelize world class intelligence capabilities and pipelines.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years experience as a Product Manager, ideally related to backend systems, and platform technical focused roles

  • Ability to envision business impact for technical products, platforms or services

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills. The ability to communicate complicated technical and scientific jargon in a seamless easy fashion to non-technical audiences.

  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills

  • Highly collaborative team player, who thrives in a fast paced environment.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities

  • Solid understanding of software development, familiarity with machine learning and how evaluation data can help improve those products.

  • Sufficient technical depth to succeed in a highly technical product role and earning the respect of world-class engineers and researchers.

  • Passion for eCommerce and technology.

Preferable skills:

  • Experience with Information Retrieval, Data Extractions and content scanning.

  • Experience working with taxonomies and ontologies.

  • Experience with eCommerce Marketplaces.

The compensation for this position ranges from $136,125.00 - $283,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program. Yahoo has a high degree of flexibility around employee location and hybrid working. In fact, our flexible-hybrid approach to work is one of the things our employees rave about.
