Job Description:

Senior Manager, Sales Operations

The Analytics & Sales Operations team ensures SVB's complex and ever-evolving business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-marketstrategy andensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major bank business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

In this role, you will partner closely with Technology Banking leaders to help them reconcile their priorities, shape their strategy, and execute their initiatives. You will be an integral part of their leadership team, providing thought partnership and utilizing your business acumen and creativity to drive and grow the business. You will shape the way we work, through operational cadence, go-to-market initiatives, insights and reporting.

This position offers the opportunity to lead and develop a team of talented Sales Operations professionals, and to collaborate with sales, operations, product, marketing, legal and finance totranslate go-to-market strategies into operations that sustain and accelerate growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Heads of Technology Banking to translate the organization's strategy into go-to-market operations and execution.
  • Proactively identify, structure, and lead key strategic initiatives and business programs to scale and accelerate our business.
  • Provide actionable insight on business performance, core performance metrics and support in preparation of quarterly business reviews.
  • Manage a Sales Operations team of three analysts, foster excellence as trusted advisors to the business, developing each team member, and ensuring a positive and engaged team dynamic.
  • Use information and influence to drive change, meaningfully impacting core performance results.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience managing a team
  • Master's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, sales operations or equivalent experience.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and analysis skillscombined with impeccable business judgment.
  • Proven ability to inspire and move a cross-functional group and business leadership in a unified direction, and to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight timeframes
  • Excel at context switching between engagement in details and big picture thinking
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to negotiate priorities across organizations at all levels.
  • Excel at balancing planning with execution

Preferred qualifications:

  • Practical experience in sales operations or a closely-related field
  • Experience leading digital transformation
  • Experience leading strategic planning in an established high-tech company
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior executives on a wide range of topics
  • Experience establishing new processes and cadence within high-growth organizations.
  • Superlative communication and facilitation skills, proven track record of building relationships with executive stakeholders.

Base Pay:

$147,670.00 - $221,504.00

Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
