University, Software Engineer Intern

The Challenge:
Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop software, but to help create a system that will have a positive impact? As a software developer on our team, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a dynamic, Agile environment. We're looking for someone with the skills needed to develop and improve technology from vision to production-ready system.

This role is more than just coding. We need a software developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. Using a variety of technical skills, you'll work with the development team to create technical solutions for our clients. You'll analyze the needs and the environment to help make sure the solution the team develops considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

  • Experience with Python, Golang, Java, C, C++, Spring, React.js, Node.js, or Angular.js
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of systems development life cycle methodologies and activities
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Spring or Summer 2026

Nice If You Have:

  • Knowledge of Agile development
  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms and operating systems
  • Knowledge of databases, including SQL or Oracle
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, IT, or a related field

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
