Job Description
Company Description HPD a division of Veolia Water Technologies has the largest number of successful installation and experience across the widest range of applications for industrial large-scale evaporation and crystallization equipment. HPD evaporation and crystallization technology helps clients meet their fiscal, production and environmental objectives by providing systems that recover valuable products and by-products, reuse/recycle valuable water resources, and reduce effluent volume through unique evaporation and crystallization process design and technology. Job Description The Procurement Manager will be involved in activities such as supplier selection, supplier development, lead cost & dispute negotiation activities, contractual terms & conditions, cost control, scheduling, assistance with quality assurance, safety, equipment procurement, field construction activities and customer/client communications. Specific areas of procurement will include procuring pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, metallic plate, tubes, fittings and structural steel. Typical project sizes range from $1 Million to $50+ Million US dollars. Projects may be domestic or international. Qualifications The preferred candidate will have at least 5 to 10+ years progressive experience in worldwide procurement of heavy process equipment and/or engineering, project management or site management for turnkey projects involving heavy process equipment such as metallic pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors and large tanks. The candidate shall demonstrate negotiation skills in complex situations, strong abilities to analyze and define strategies together with excellent communication skills at all levels. A bachelor's degree in a technical field or procurement related curriculum is required. with contractual and legal experience preferred.
