JMU) is accepting applications on a continual basis for part-time Recycling Workers. FM Recycling offers flexible scheduling/hours, with various shift options. Part-time staff can work up to 29 hours per week. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organization that is continuously growing!

Duties and Responsibilities |
Pick up ground litter, sort recyclables, and empty outdoor and indoor recycling from all campus locations. |
Qualifications |
Required:
- Demonstrated ability to lift 30-50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to walk and be on your feet through most of a six-hour shift
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Be willing to handle various items of trash and have the ability to work predominately outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- This position is essential and will require working as needed for inclement weather and occasional weekends.
- Applicants must be at least 19 years old with a valid driver's license and must have possessed a valid driver's license for a minimum of 24 months total
- Must have the ability to drive safely and responsibly in a campus environment
- Ability to use a golf cart-style vehicle and/or pick-up truck with mirror backing in tight, crowded spaces.

These are part-time wage positions working an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.

Notice of Availability - Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report contains information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, the university police law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures, protocols for the immediate notification of students and staff upon confirmation of a significant emergency on campus and other matters of importance related to security and safety. The report includes statistics for the most recent three-year period of reported crimes that have occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by
JMU or its affiliates; and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.
The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes campus housing fire statistics for the most recent three-year period, a description of each on-campus student housing facility fire safety system, the number of fire drills held during the previous calendar year, policies or rules on portable electrical appliances, smoking, and open flames in student housing; and procedures for student housing evacuation in the event of fire along with other fire safety information.
