Job Summary and Qualifications

The Newborn Photographer Supervisor delivers remarkable customer service to patients throughout the photographic, sales and portrait delivery experience. In addition, this position supervises all other baby photographers and ensures controls of incoming transactions and monies. Acts as lead photographer.

What you will do In This Role:

  • Collects all payment envelopes from photographers and reconciles transaction slips and monies accurately to turn into bookkeeper.
  • Ensures photographers are meeting daily target set by the Blue Bird Finance Committee. Mediates any issues that may arise. Encourages highest work ethic amongst photographers.
  • Position newborn for multiple poses alone or with family members. Capture creative actions poses of families interacting with baby. Will use professional quality camera equipment, tablets, computers, printers, and developing software.
  • Must possess strong verbal, interpersonal and collaboration skills to ensure good interaction with families. Provide customers with information regarding picture packages and assist with the selection. Ability to develop a good rapport with families, must feel comfortable in a hospital setting and sharing the joy of this great moment of their life.
  • Collects payments for photography services from families in the form of cash and credit or debit cards. Manages appropriately payments received.
  • Maintains computers and other electronics and ensures cleanliness of photography carts and all work areas. Keeps an accurate count of inventory of supplies and notifies the Volunteer Office when there is a need to reorder.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Sales experience necessary
  • Employee completes initial and ongoing training and competencies as defined byserviceline, facility and department/unit which are specific to the needs of the patient population served (if applicable).
