Director, Institutional Business Development - Hybrid/Remote

SEI Family Office Services (FOS) is looking to add a senior business development executive to our team, with experience selling comprehensive technology-based solutions, targeting private wealth management firms, such as Private Banks and Regional Banks. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and have an opportunity to impact our business.

What you'll do:

Generate new business opportunities for the SEI FOS technology and outsourcing solutions within the wealth management, family office, private banking, and global investment management market segments.

Lead the sales process, from prospecting through close, including lead generation, qualification, client meetings, RFPs, proposal development, contract negotiation and successful closure.

Qualify and manage sales opportunities, to ensure tight alignment with FOS software solutions' capabilities, sales strategy, financial commitment expectations, and market reputation.

Coordinate with SEI's legal team to draft and successfully execute contracts.

Ensure smooth transition of the prospect relationship to the FOS Relationship Management team, once the contracted relationship has been finalized.

Effectively manage a broad market territory for long term business success over a multi-year horizon.

Contribute to the advancement of SEI FOS on a strategic level, through the development of internal and external relationships, solutions and processes that relate to new business development activities, within the wealth management, family office, private banking, and global investment management market segments.

Enhance pipeline by working closely with internal Marketing teams, through prospecting, referrals, and attending networking and industry events, in the pursuit of new business opportunities.

Work with Unit Leadership to achieve and deliver on sales targets and objectives.

Provide up-to-date prospecting information, such as call reports, presentations, business proposals and contract agreements, via our sales tracking technology.

What you bring to the table:

Bachelor's degree in General Business, Finance, Marketing or related field.

5+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry.

Proven track record of:

  • Initiating new relationships and building a pipeline.
  • Developing senior level client relationships.
  • Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Achieving / exceeding annual sales goals and revenue targets.

Excellent leadership, planning, and time management skills.

High energy, motivation and organization to complete simultaneous client deliverables, in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Sound understanding of accounting principles and investment terminology.

Experience working with Salesforce & Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred.

Ability to analyze, comprehend, and document business processes and workflows.

Willingness and availabilityto travelis required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary commensurate with experience. Exempt position, not overtime eligible.
