Blender Operator - Temporary

The Blender Operator is responsible for unloading, loading and blending fertilizer.

What your day may look like



  • Blends and loads fertilizer formulations.
  • Maintains conveyor systems.
  • Unloads railcars and trucks of fertilizer.
  • Maintains cleanliness in fertilizer storage and loadout areas.
  • Maintains run-off.
  • Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.
  • Reliable and regular attendance is expected.



Education and experience needed for this position



  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must pass a drug test and background check.



Other skills that will help you succeed



  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Can operate a forklift.
  • Attention to detail.



Your work environment and the physical aspects of the job

The work environment for this position is that of a typical warehouse and distribution environment where the noise level is usually moderate to loud and occasionally very loud. In this position, the employee regularly works near moving equipment/mechanical parts and could be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards and a risk of electrical shock. This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, stand and sit. You will be regularly required to lift or move up to 100 pounds.
