Position Summary: Run assigned extruder machines and responsible for making sure end product is correct and in specifications.

Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch, Monday- Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Check assigned extrusions every hour using verniers, ohm meters, and pin gauges.
  • Check material height, weight, outside diameter, inside diameter, resistance temperature, rpm and pressure, and record in computer.
  • Use internal system to input what machines are running and what material is being used in order to hand off to next shift.
  • Responsible for unloading and reloading assigned machines as well as cleaning machines.
  • Reload machines when material is getting low; requires obtaining material from inventory freezer, thawing material and cutting specific amount to reload into machine minimizing waste.
  • Obtain correct die for individual job and cleaning die machine.
  • Clean dies when order is complete and place back in correct location.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Must be able to work in a fast-pace environment and be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to read and interpret work orders and blue prints.
  • 2 years manufacturing experience or technical skills in machine operation type role required.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
