The Role Lead in component architecture and participate in enterprise architecture activity. The key focus in data integrity, data normalization/transformation, automation, and intersystem communications. Participate in the definition of future technology architecture and strategy. Develop and maintain business systems and corporate architectures. Review and research complex technology and system assessments for component architecture. The Main Responsibilities Responsible for system architecture, data modeling, and integrity, services infrastructure design strategy governs application integration architecture. Ensures compatibility across infrastructure architecture. Leads and provides the technical direction required to resolve complex issues within the GE Smallworld and Comsof platforms to ensure on-time delivery of solutions that meet project expectations. Performs system analysis and produces solutions to support the reduction in technical debt and functionality consolidation in the Planning, Engineering, and Construction (PEC) domains Support implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives. Produce project architecture designs. Ensure applications adhere to established standards, policies, methodologies, and industry best practices. Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas. Stay ahead of emerging technologies and capabilities to prepare and respond to customer needs and expectations. Provide in-depth technical and systems consultation to internal clients, development team, and technical management to ensure alignment of system functionality, APIs, automation, and reporting to support evolving needs of Planning, engineering, construction, and sales for Fiber and copper-based portfolios. What We Look For in a Candidate MS/ M Tech/BS/B Tech degree in Computer Science, related technical field preferred, or equivalent work experience. Typically, with 5+ years of system architecture experience within the GE Smallworld suite and Graphical Information Systems (GIS) domain. 3+ years of system architecture experience with a master's degree.
