Stonebridge Companies is a privately owned, innovative hotel development and hospitality management company. We manage a portfolio of 65+ hotels across the United States, and provide investor opportunities, hotel development services, hotel management services, and hospitality career opportunities to our partners and associates. We are currently looking to add a Real Estate/Business Associate to our corporate team located in Denver, CO.

Job Description:

The Real Estate/Business Associate will be responsible for supporting Stonebridge Companies with its strategic growth initiatives, which will include analyzing new investment opportunities (equity and debt/structured investments), mergers and acquisitions, third party management opportunities, and strategic asset management of its owned portfolio of hotels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a combination of applicable work experience and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain real estate investment models inclusive of pro forma projections, financing and joint venture structuring, and investment analyses (e.g., sensitivity tables)
  • Assist in developing and executing the company's growth strategy through in-depth market research, preparation of high-quality reports and proposal presentations on potential mergers and acquisitions and third party management opportunities
  • Perform due diligence tasks, including reviewing investment memorandums of potential acquisitions, detailed historical operating statements, contracts and leases, building condition and environment reports, etc.
  • Coordinate necessary communication with team members including internal departments and external partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or Hospitality preferred)
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in an analytical role with demonstrated modelling skills
  • Strong analytical background
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to build cash flow analysis, pro forma projections, sensitivity tables, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Fluent with financial return metrics and ability to quickly calculate and analyze key metrics such as Internal Rate of Return, Net Present Value, Discounted Cash Flow, Return on Cost, Equity Multiple, and Debt Service Coverage Ratio
  • Ability to prioritize multiple, complex projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness
